This is a photo essay of my old 1973 Eldorado. This is a well kept driver that has a few minor issues. Before I purchased the Caddy it was a Florida winter car and Maine summer traveler. I purchased in 1991 and it has been on and off the road since but always garaged in my ownership. The Caddy is a very solid vehicle with 130,000 miles and runs excellent. The body is not rusty and the underside appears very solid. The paint is good but showing a little age with a couple minor dings and chips, nothing major and no bubbles or rust showing under the paint. Some of the things that would be required if you need perfection are the rubber around the gas cap needs to be replaced. One rear bumper reflector is missing. The rear power windows need to be lubed or adjusted to work smoothly. Motors all work. The left convertible top piston works but appears a little weak or the top bar needs adjustment (top motor works fine and top will go up and down. There is a crack in the dash that I sealed as best as I could. The convertible rear window should be replaced when you replace the top though the plastic is clear. There are no major dents and the panels are straight and solid with a small scratch on the lower rear panel. Recently the muffler has been replaced as well as both exhaust manifold gaskets. I have replaced most of the vinyl door panels with naughyde which is much more substantial than vinyl. New seat covers of similar material. I have covered the most serious problems and cannot think of anything else of importance. There may be other minor items that I missed. On the plus side this is a very clean car needing only minor cosmetic repairs that are in the relm of the average person. The motor and tranny drive as they should and the motor does not smoke. I have just put the Caddy back on the road as It needed a brake hose and I just found the time to replace these parts. The Caddy always attracts attention every time I take it out. If you are looking for a clean driver or something to restore to near perfection this may be the perfect vehicle. This is a used car and is being sold as is, cash will be required and a deposit necessary if you are not picking up within a couple of days. Caddy is listed in other formats and will be sold to the first person to meet the asking price. I am only selling as I have other vehicles on the property and town requirements only allow one unregistered car. The Caddy takes up a lot of room and I need the space. The photos should tell the story. Other questions Email myoldcar@capecod.com A bill of sale form is available on request. Title is clear and free from any liens.
